The Banjar Hot Springs, located in Banjar Tengah, Buleleng, near Singaraja, Bali, is a natural thermal spring complex renowned for its healing properties and tranquil surroundings. The hot water springs provide a recreational and therapeutic experience, due to the water’s sulphuric content. This can be seen from the yellowish red sedimentation at several points of the spouts and pool walls. The bathing pools are constructed around the hot water spring source and feature a tiered structure. The first level features eight dragon spouts with a smaller pool also adjoining this section. The large size of the central bathing pools enables families to join in on the soothing dip. Down on the second level is the main central pool.

The Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery, also known as the Vihara Buddha Banjar, is a revered Buddhist temple complex located in Banjar Village, approximately 10 kilometers west of Lovina Beach, in North Bali. It is nestled amidst picturesque surroundings, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and distant mountains. The monastery was founded in 1969 by Bhikkhu Giri Rakkhita, a Buddhist monk from Java, with the support of the local community. Over the years, the monastery has grown in size and stature, becoming one of the most important Buddhist sites in Bali. Moreover, The Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery is renowned for its exquisite architecture, which combines traditional Balinese and Buddhist design elements. The complex features ornate temples, pagodas, meditation halls, and statues, all adorned with intricate carvings and decorative motifs. The centerpiece of the monastery is the majestic main temple, which houses a large golden Buddha statue and other sacred relics.
